Cotton and microfibre nippa-fastened nappy from Nature Babies
Another great offering from our new line of Nature Babies’ products - the Diddy Diaper in cotton and microfibre. Cut to the same straightforward specification as the natural cotton Diddy, the microfibre provides an even greater level of absorbency for heavy wetters. Microfibre is a man-made material, designed for its absorbent, easy-cleaning qualities - which makes it an ideal fabric for real nappies . Microfibres can absorb up to seven times their own weight in water, and are less liable to shrink than the natural fabrics, ensuring a more durable, longer-lasting nappy.
Like all Diddy Diapers, this refreshing, uncomplicated nappy is a great value first-time buy for cloth converts. Pitched some way between the traditional flat and contemporary shaped nappies, the Micro Diddy combines the best of both worlds in giving you the simplicity (and value) of the old-style terry, but without all the headache of folding...
Styled to an unpretentious regular nappy shape, the Micro Diddy provides ample padding, which soaks away wetness without ever losing its slimline shape. It has fun, Sumo-style, wraparound tabs to secure around the waist. A stay-soft cotton jersey lines the inside of the nappy, meaning the Micro Diddy also scores highly on comfort and protection. Best of all, though (apart from the price) is that the flat, wide cut of cloth between the legs holds in the mess, giving you peace of mind and reducing the need for liners.
As the front of the nappy can be folded down to fit, the Size 1 can become a genuine newborn’s nappy. Available for nippa fasteners only (sold separately), this nappy is best suited to the Nature Babies range of wraps, but can be used in conjunction with most others. The Micro Diddy is also compatible with all boosters/liners, and for ultimate protection can even be worn as a size 1 inside a size 2, should you need to.
I used these in the smaller size a lot and they were great giving a neat fit with the nippa. This one is very big so not as useful at the bottom of its weight range with a baby with a small bottom.
