Gold winner of best reusable nappy -
Practical Parenting Awards 2010/11

These are the lovely new Version 3 of this great nappy. With a more streamlined, amazingly soft Minkee inner, they are slimmer than the previous version, but even more absorbant. Please note the new prices reflect this vastly superior product. If you see these nappies at the older prices elsewhere, they are almost certainly the Version 2 nappies - but please call us to clarify and we'll match any price of these Version 3 nappies as per our pricematch guarantee.

Category: Nappy
Type: All-in-one (also known as an All-in-two)
Sizing: One-size
Fabric: Microfibre inner, PUL outer
Fastener: Aplix (fastens nappy), Popper (adjusts size)

We only stock the current version of pop-in nappies. In the Dream Dri, or microfibre nappy, the most up-to-date version is the V3.

This new Version 3 nappy from Close Parent improves on the previous microfibre version of this great all-in-one real nappy. Like the bamboo version, it is an absolute gem of a real nappy . It's one-size and all-in-one - which means that you only have to buy one set of the cloth nappies to fit your baby through all of his or her nappy-wearing life. In a range of lovely unisex colours (including white for the minimalist amongst us!) the reusable nappies are great for baby and parents alike.

The inner is a soft, absorbant microfibre fabric which, as the name suggests, poppers in to the outer wrap, which has ‘pockets’ at front and back similar to wraps used for prefolds, to hold the microfibre nappy element in place. In addition, you can purchase an extra dri-night Booster which wraps around the inner and works really well at making the reusable completely leak free for long use - for instance at night time or long journeys. Microfibre is super-soft and while it is one of the most absorbamt fabrics available in real nappies, it is also really quick to dry which makes it an ideal choice for busy parents. The entire inner portion comes out of the outer shell for washing - meaning you avoid a lot of the conventional problems with all in ones - like a less thorough wash and a longer drying time - as each element is washed and dried separately and therefore more efficiently.

The outer is really nice and soft - lined with poly urethane to make it leak-proof, the fabric coating means it looks and feels softer than traditional wraps. It has great stretchy tabs at the side, which give a great range of adjustability, and fasten on to a soft touch wash tab on the inside to prevent snagging during the wash, which can degrade the aplix fastening on real nappies . The leg binding has a lovely double gusset which is also a great addition for keeping the outer leakproof.

On the front are four rows of poppers (the picture above, showing just three rows, was taken before the products' latest redesign) which you can leave unfastened for older babies, or fasten down to the smallest setting for new borns. These adjust the rise really well, and in conjunction with the side tabs, ensure a comprehensive range of fit for these cloth nappies . (Please note the images are for illustration purposes and the colour of this product is the one in the main image at the top of the page).

All of our testers have loved this real nappy , and we're sure it's set to become a firm favourite amongst cloth nappy fans.

This was a fast drying nappy which is why I ordered it. The absorbancy is not as high as cotton or bamboo but it seems to work well. The outside looks a bit worn as it piles a little and the the velcro tabs may tire with lots of washings. But effective and very neat looking.
Cleangreennappy says: Don't forget to fold back the velcro tabs and fasten them onto the laundry tab in the middle of the back of the inside of the nappy during washing and drying. This will extend the life of the nappies and stop the pilling.

I found it hard to rate these. On the one hand, they are brilliant in terms of being slim-fitting, nice to look at, easy to use and extremely quick to dry. On the other hand the absorbency is poor, and I have given up using them now (at 16 months) as was only realy getting an hour out of them before they were saturated and start to leak at the legs. These nappies are not really suited to boosting as there is no pocket to put the booster. I didn't get them until my baby was about 8 months old so don't know if they are any good for newborns or not.
CleanGreenNappy says: Thanks for your comments. We wanted to point out that only a very small proportion of nappies are pocket-style, but this does not mean you can't boost them. In this nappy, you can simply pop a booster in to the nappy on top of the main insert.

Very good so far. Good absorbency, great fit and ability to adjust in multiple ways, love the gusseted legs (why don't all brands have these??). Haven't tried these yet at night but day times they have worked well when both wet and soiled. My baby is a slim 10 month old and as a one size this looks as if it will fit to her size for a while to come. Great value for money.

Although a little bulky on a newborn, these still achieved a good fit even on a two week old. I have no leaks and they coped well with exploding newborn poo. The double layer around the legs is really good for preventing leaks around little legs. The green is a nice colour but I'm not so keen on the other colours in the range. I have tried FuzziBunz, TotsBots EasyFit, Bamboozle, Flip, Smartipants and Bumble and these are the best.

Really absorbant and fast drying nappy. I've given it 4 stars and not 5 as I find it bulkier than other one size nappies on my 3 month daughter.

Really good all-in-one and has performed very well in day time use. Excellent fit for my 10-week-old son and nice for not being too bulky for a smaller child. I have bought more of these especially for daddy as they are easy to put on and adjust to fit the baby.

I wanted to like this nappy, it looks lovely, the colour and fabric are gorgeous but I'm sorry to say it disapointed me. I thought it would have similar conatainment to a pocket style but all it did was leak after an hour or less. Oddly though it is the BEST night nappy we have tried when you add a night time booster so I dont really know how to rate it LOL 1star on its own but 5star with the booster

So far, so good. Only received this the other day but have already used it several times. Hasn't leaked yet and she wore it for several hours yesterday morning.

The major bonus in my book is that it dries REALLY quickly. The outer was dry almost as it came out of the machine and the inserts dried quickly on the line.

The colour is nice too!

Brilliant nappy - the previous version of this was my favourite of all the nappies I've tried and this one really is EVEN better, addressing the only slight issue I had with the other one, which was that it was a little bulky on my new born. If anyone is wondering which cloth nappy to go for in my view this is it; it is truly one size (can be used from NB), looks great, good absorbancy, very leak proof, easy velcro fastening (a boon with a wriggly baby)and dries very quickly from wash. And as it is one size saves money as you only have to buy the one. Love it!
