Clean Green Nappy Machine photography compeition to win a birth to potty set of real nappies and a professional photo of your baby

Enter our great competition to win a complete kit of Tots Bots nappies

and a professional photoshoot for your baby

To celebrate a new year - full of resolutions to do our bit for the environment - we're running our best ever competition. To launch our Facebook fan site, we want you to upload pictures of your little one in real nappies.  Then answer a simple question by email, and you're eligible to win this great prize.

The full set of Tots Bots brand new all-in-one one-size nappy includes 20 nappies which will fit from birth to potty, as well as a 3-in-one potty. Choose from bamboo or microterry inner. The RRP of these kits is £268 for the micro terry and £280 for the bamboo, so this really is a recession-busting set of nappies.

The photograph will be taken by a professional photographer on location in London. Full details are shown below - please see the section on prizes.

The person who has the best all-round entry - of a great photo and a brilliant idea - will scoop the wonderful prize. And if you've already bought your nappies, don't worry - you can always give them to a friend or family member who hasn't been as organised as you!

How to enter

All entries must be received by April 1st, 2009. The competition is open to members of the public - whether or not they are previous customers of www.cleangreennappy.co.uk, or hold accounts with us.

The photo

The photograph will be judged mainly on cute factor - we just want images which really show off your baby, and our nappies, and how great the first looks in the second. Obviously the weather doesn't allow for any outdoors shots at the moment, but any interesting locations or themes for the shot might help to set it apart from the rest.

But we want you to let your creativity free too - so we've assembled an amazing panel of judges including 3 international photographers, and a photographer's agent and freelance writer.

Competition judge, David Axelbank, gives the following tips for your taking pictures of your baby: "Try to capture the personality of your child, by observing the individual qualities - behaviour, mannerisms and emotions - that make him or her unique. Don't rush the process, but try always to have a camera ready so you can capture those unplanned spontaneous moments. Also, when you see lighting conditions that are special or unique - photograph! Often this results in the more visually arresting images."

To submit your photo, become a "fan" of The Clean Green Nappy Machine on Facebook, and then click on "Add Photots" in the fan photos section on the right hand side.

* Apart from the pictures being available to view on our facebook fan page, The Clean Green Nappy will not show these pictures to anyone, nor will it use them for any marketing purposes unless the express permission of the parents is obtained.

The question

The question we want you to answer is: "What could The Clean Green Nappy Machine be doing to set itself apart from other real nappy companies?

Since we set up 2 and a half years ago, we have striven to make sure that the customer is placed at the forefront of everything we do - from offering advice and information, to ensuring that your queries are dealt with as efficiently and helpfully as possible. And we're trying to make sure that, whether you shop with us or just use our advice and information services, we make the whole idea of real nappies more accessible to everyone. But we really want to keep improving in the areas our customers think most important, so we're looking for ideas across our entire business.

You might have a great way in which we could get information out to reluctant or uninformed parents, or an idea for promotions which would encourage you to buy nappies, or anything at all. Inventiveness and innovation will count, as will ideas which we're not already implementing. It doesn't have to be a full plan - just the germs of an idea will give us something to go on. The question will be judged by The Clean Green Nappy staff.
