Gold winner of best reusable nappy -
Practical Parenting Awards 2010/11

These are the lovely new Version 3 of this great nappy. With a more streamlined, amazingly soft Minkee inner, they are slimmer than the previous version, but even more absorbant. Please note the new prices reflect this vastly superior product. If you see these nappies at the older prices elsewhere, they are almost certainly the Version 2 nappies - but please call us to clarify and we'll match any price of these Version 3 nappies as per our pricematch guarantee.

This new Version 3 nappy from Close Parent improves on the previous microfibre version of this great all-in-one real nappy. Like the bamboo version, it is an absolute gem of a real nappy . It's one-size and all-in-one - which means that you only have to buy one set of the cloth nappies to fit your baby through all of his or her nappy-wearing life. In a range of lovely unisex colours (including white for the minimalist amongst us!) the reusable nappies are great for baby and parents alike.

The inner is a soft, absorbant microfibre fabric which, as the name suggests, poppers in to the outer wrap, which has ‘pockets’ at front and back similar to wraps used for prefolds, to hold the microfibre nappy element in place. In addition, you can purchase an extra dri-night Booster which wraps around the inner and works really well at making the reusable completely leak free for long use - for instance at night time or long journeys. Microfibre is super-soft and while it is one of the most absorbamt fabrics available in real nappies, it is also really quick to dry which makes it an ideal choice for busy parents. The entire inner portion comes out of the outer shell for washing - meaning you avoid a lot of the conventional problems with all in ones - like a less thorough wash and a longer drying time - as each element is washed and dried separately and therefore more efficiently.

The outer is really nice and soft - lined with poly urethane to make it leak-proof, the fabric coating means it looks and feels softer than traditional wraps. It has great stretchy tabs at the side, which give a great range of adjustability, and fasten on to a soft touch wash tab on the inside to prevent snagging during the wash, which can degrade the aplix fastening on real nappies . The leg binding has a lovely double gusset which is also a great addition for keeping the outer leakproof.

On the front are four rows of poppers (the picture above, showing just three rows, was taken before the products' latest redesign) which you can leave unfastened for older babies, or fasten down to the smallest setting for new borns. These adjust the rise really well, and in conjunction with the side tabs, ensure a comprehensive range of fit for these cloth nappies . (Please note the images are for illustration purposes and the colour of this product is the one in the main image at the top of the page).

All of our testers have loved this real nappy , and we're sure it's set to become a firm favourite amongst cloth nappy fans.

Waterproof outer dries really quickly on the line even in winter, while the inner bits I normally stick in the tumble drier. Have found with newborn pooh that washing at 40 degrees is fine. Love the colours and the super soft materials used throughout. Have found them to be very absorbent - the odd leak has been down to forgetting to change rather than any fault with the nappies! Only downside is that the velcro picks up fluff and stops looking new quite quickly - but I guess that is the same for all nappies with velcro. Fitted my 9lb newborn fine from birth.
CleanGreenNappy says: Thanks for the great review. Please remember to fasten the velcro onto the laundry tab at the back of the nappy during washing to stop it picking up too much fluff!

These are great as daytime nappies - they dry really quickly (if separated out probably in 6-8 hours) They do not leak and look quite cute. Only criticism is on the smallest setting they bunch up a lot around the legs and create a lot of discomfort and creasing in between the legs. Also the soakers are very absorbent but feel wet when at their maximum capacity so they aren't stay dry in that respect.
They work well with the bamboo inserts for night time - if carefully put on they don't leak in 10 hours of use.

They fit really well, they dry in a day, but they seem to leak during the night, and sometimes poo gets onto the waterproof layer and the booster. I bought the V2 version and they seem to be able to hold out for longer.

These nappies have been wonderful so far. At first they were a little bulky on my newborn, but they still fit really well and weren't so big to leak. We haven't yet used the overnight boosters, but we only change her once a night when she wakes and have not had any issues with going 6 hours overnight without a change.
I find it easiest to put the nappies together at once, rather than trying to assemble them during change time - but this isn't a problem at all. They are easy to put together and now that I have the hang of it they are very fast to assemble. I wash and line dry the three componants seperately and they dry very quickly - within 12 hours.
Overall they are wonderful nappies and I am looking at getting some more to increase my collection!

I love these nappies. I have been using them for my daughter since she was 6 weeks and she is now 1 year. They wash very well and dry overnight. They have caught the most explosive new-born poos and because the liners are flushable you have fewer bad smells than with disposables. She has never had nappy rash and uses the dry night booster for 12 hours without any leaks. The only negative I can think of is the instructions are unclear and difficult to read so make sure you watch the help video. Otherwise, I would thoroughly recommend them.

I LOVE these nappies. My baby is now 1 and has been in them since he was 4 weeks old. They wash really well and still look as good now as they did when we bought them. The poppers are useful and make it so much easier as your baby gets bigger. That said, with a 24lb 1 year old, I've still got the nappies on the last popper, so still plenty of room left in them. I have the boosters but I don't really use them, they are a bit of a faff to dry and with the other parts of the nappy being a breeze to wash and dry I've managed without them. I would recommend these nappies to anybody wanting a birth to potty option.

Great nappies, I have no complaints. They are probably slightly less absorbent than the original bamboo version, but they do dry fast. I have both the dream dri and bamboo nappies and use bamboo ones when I need extra absorbency (night-time, long travel, etc.). But I can always rely on the dream dri ones to be dry and ready for use.

I ordered the 10 pack first to see how we got on with them - this seemed good value for money compared to the other nappies. I was a bit skeptical how one nappy could work from new born to potty, however didn't really want to have to keep buying different sizes. I also liked the convenience of an all in one nappy. Thankfully I was proved wrong and they have been brilliant, even my husband is impressed and happy using them. We used disposables for one week while we got our wits about us, and then moved onto these and didn't look back - our baby was 8 lbs when he started wearing them, and although he was more nappy than baby they worked well. Worth noting that the absorbency improves after 4 washes so keep that in mind if they don't seem great initially. I went through a few days when they started leaking out the back and realized it is important you fold the sides round neatly and tuck everything in. With regards the nappy liners, these are fiddly and we have found it better to wrap them around the smaller booster rather than the soaker, it stops them sticking out the side. We are washing the nappies with ecoballs which are fab on a short wash cycle - they come out great at 40 however for major poo explosions we have had to use 50 degrees. The best bit about these nappies is that they dry REALLY quickly too. I have now bought 5 more so it is working well with the using and washing cycle with 15. The colours are lovely but I just wish they did them in bolder colours like red, purple, turquoise etc.

My friend gifted us one original POP-IN nappy when our baby was born. We already had a full supply of other branded nappies and just giggled at our gift... until we used it. WOW NO LEAKS OVERNIGHT! We couldn't believe how well these nappies held and i wanted more! I have since bought the 10 pack of V3 and my only disappointment is that they are not quite as absorbant as the originals. I didn't realise they were more about quick drying ability than abosrbancy and i would've purchased the originals if i'd known. Regardless of this, we still LOVE these nappies and would highly recommend them. We bought the 10 more despite already owning over 30 cloth nappies as we use these especially as night time nappies. Our 11 week old went from 630pm until 3am without one leak. Unfortunately we didn't have the night time booster in and at 630am she'd wet through about 4 layers to the bed so we'll be adding the booster tonight! GREAT NAPPIES, wish we'd known about them sooner as it would have been all we bought! The only reason i've given it 4 instead of 5 is because it's not as absorbant as the original, i'd give the originals a 5!

I am so pleased with the Pop-In Dream Dri. I tried a couple of different nappies before deciding on these and I have not been disappointed. They are very simple to use, wash and dry and I have had no leaks at all. I use them at night with the bamboo booster and they last 13 hours with no problems at all.
