Inside the box

2x 2x 2x 2x 2x 1x 1x 3x

A multipack of the lovely nappy described below including 10 lovely all-in-one one-size real nappies as well as 3 dri-night Boosters, a roll of flushable paper liners, and a small tote bag for storage. Please note that the kit will usually contain two of each colour, as pictured, although from time to time when particular colours are not in stock this may vary.

This is an absolute gem of a real nappy. It's one-size and all-in-one - which means that you only have to buy one set of the cloth nappies to fit your baby through all of his or her nappy-wearing life. In a range of lovely unisex colours (including white for the minimalist amongst us!) the reusable nappies are great for baby and parents alike.

The inner is a lovely soft bamboo which, as the name suggests, poppers in to the outer wrap, which has ‘pockets’ at front and back similar to wraps used for prefolds, to hold the bamboo nappy element in place. In addition, you can purchase an extra dri-night Booster which wraps around the inner and works really well at making the reusable completely leak free for long use - for instance at night time or long journeys. Bamboo has naturally antibacterial qualities, and is one of the most environmentally friendly fabrics currently in use for real nappies . which adds to the desirability of this range. The entire inner bamboo portion then comes out of the outer shell for washing - meaning you avoid a lot of the conventional problems with all in ones - like a less thorough wash and a longer drying time - as each element is washed and dried separately and therefore more efficiently.

The outer is really nice and soft - lined with poly urethane to make it leak-proof, the fabric coating means it looks and feels softer than traditional wraps. It has great stretchy tabs at the side, which give a great range of adjustability, and fasten on to a soft touch wash tab on the inside to prevent snagging during the wash, which can degrade the aplix fastening on real nappies . The leg binding has a lovely double gusset which is also a great addition for keeping the outer leakproof.

On the front are four rows of poppers (the picture above, showing just three rows, was taken before the products' latest redesign) which you can leave unfastened for older babies, or fasten down to the smallest setting for new borns. These adjust the rise really well, and in conjunction with the side tabs, ensure a comprehensive range of fit for these cloth nappies . (Please note the images are for illustration purposes and the colour may vary from the item being described).

The dri-night Booster fastens around the insert to bulk up the nappy for night-time use, or for long journeys or heavy wetters. Although this does add bulk to the nappy, as it's made out of bamboo to start with, which is so absorbant, it is more slimline than a cotton alternative.

All of our testers have loved this real nappy , and we're sure it's set to become a firm favourite amongst cloth nappy fans.

I love these nappies. They don't leak on my skinny 16 week, 11lb daughter, we've had no poo explosions unlike the disposables I was using. I tried several types of cloth nappy and eventually bought 20 pop ins as they are much slimmer fitting and dry much quicker than the other bamboo ones I tried. I don't have a tumble dryer but they are dry in about 24 hours on an indoor airer.

These take forever to dry, but they are very absorbent. They are convenient to use. I really really like them and am very happy with my purchase.

Really good nappies that hold poo excellently - no leaks so far. Sizing is good and can see how these will last for a long time yet. Only downside is the drying time of the bamboo inners. If you have a tumble dryer then these are excellent nappies, if not then perhaps think twice.

easy to use, last from birth to potty although i think they are better from about 2 months on when baby is a little bigger. i do use a disposable at night as found that they couldn't withstand 12 hours of wetting but in daytime haven't had any leaks the extra stretchy side panels prevent them. look lovely on baby a little bulky to start but baby soon grows into them. liners work well especially once on formula or solids. when breast fed it does go through to the material but the bamboo washes well, 6 months on there are no stains on my nappies. To wash i store them in a bucket i don't soak them although i would wash off the soiled ones when baby was breast fed and wash a load together every 3 days. I like to use flannels and tea tree oil instead of baby wipes nicer to use water and much cheaper. very very happy with these nappies. can often pick up liners cheaply on ebay.

My favourite nappies! My husband and I initially went for the 2 part nappy/wrap system thinking they would be more reliable - the system definitely is reliable, but as our baby got to the 6 month mark nappy changes became increasingly wriggly and difficult to execute when there was a nappy and a wrap to contend with. We tried a few different all-in-one type nappies and these were an outright winner, and we've committed to a full time pack - they're the only ones we now use. The outers are lovely and soft, and the gussets around the thighs are great for keeping everything in. The waistband is also soft and stretchy, and fits our fat little monster comfortably. Popping the bamboo soakers into the outer is much easier and faster than stuffing a pocket nappy, but being able to separate them means faster drying, so you get the best of both.
We didn't use these from birth, so I'm not sure what the fit would be like on a tiny baby, but with a 6 month old fatty, we're still poppering down to the second largest setting so there's room to grow into. This nappy is also less bulky than others we've tried. The colours are delightful and get lots of comments when her nappies are poking out under dresses!
For around 200 for a full nappy set, with waterproof bags, night boosters and paper liners, it's also an economical set - I wish we had gone for Close nappies from the start.
If there has to be a downside, I would say it's the dying time, because of the bamboo inners. But, I stick them on an indoor airer and they're good to go in about a day and a half, which I don't find a problem at all, and find that I need to wash every 2nd day with a set of 20. The inners can be tumble dried, so that's an option too.
Again, my favourite nappies!

LOVE THEM

I would wholeheartedly recommend these nappies to anyone - the cost is very reasonable - they are easy to wash and do dry quickly - chuck the inners in the dryer with the rest of your load and the outers on a radiator cover or in the airing cupboard and you are good to go! They are also very versatile with the popper system to alter the size. If you are looking for a real nappy then look no further.

My son was very long and skinny and I was worried that real nappies would look really bulky on him. Not so with the pop-ins. OK, so they are bulkier than a disposable despite the claims that they are as slim-fitting but not too bulky. Having said that, I did not put him in them full time until we started weaning although he has used them overnight since he was 8 weeks old. The only reason for not putting him in them during the day was the breastmilk poo explosions that we regularly encountered and the fact that I was a bit squeamish about having to remove the liner and un-popper the nappy for the wash with all that runny poo around!! Now that he is weaning and the poo is a bit more solid, it is so easy to flush the liner down the loo, secure the tabs, un-popper the inner and chuck the whole nappy in the bucket.

Another plus of these nappies is the fact that they contain the smell so well - in a disposable you can smell when they need changing whereas these really keep the smell in - it does however mean that you need to be a bit more vigilant about frequency of nappy changes as you never know what will greet you when you undo the velcro tabs!!

The only slight downside is that the nighttime boosters do make them bulky and as my son is a heavy wetter we do need to use them or else we have had the occasional leak with the nappy being on for up to 12 hours overnight.

Overall though I am glad that after hours and hours of research I chose these.

I like the product but I'm disappointed that it isn't identical to the Pop-In trial pack that I'd previously purchased from a local shop. In the trial pack the outer nappy can be tumble dried but with the multi pack bought from the Clean Green Nappy machine it can't. It dries pretty quickly but it's not quite as convenient or fast as putting the whole thing in to the tumble drier.

Clean Green Nappy says: we have checked with Close Parent, and they have confirmed to us what we thought - which is that they have never advised to tumble dry the outers. On very old versions they may have not specifically warned not to. They decided however, that in order to preserve the integrity of the fabric for as long as possible, and to therefore stop it from becoming leaky, the best advice is not to do so.

Given the plethora of different real nappies available, we opted for hedging outr bets and buying three different types (comprising 20 in total which incidentally wasn't enough in our experience). The 10 pop-ins we bought are the best and we have just ordeded another 10. The fact that the pads for these nappies are easily removable and sit right next to baby (as opposed to pocket napies) means that if, as invariably happens at least once a day, baby delivers a little present into a one minute old nappy. You can quickly remove the top pad before either the bottom pad or the outer shell get soiled. We got the bamboo type which seem to take a bit longer to dry than the microfibre ones (which is the only reason they dont get 5/5) but they are definitely our favourites.

I love these nappies! I started with 5 for my son along with some other brands but these stood out for ease of use and comfort for him. I have recently bought a further 10 and find that having 15 in total is a perfect amount for him to wear pop-ins all the time. He stays very dry in them and they have never leaked. Having the waterproof outer concealed in the nice soft wrapper is great as the nappy does not seem to sweat and he is a lot more comfortable than having to wear plastic wrappers. The pop-in bamboo inners do take quite a long time to dry after washing, but having enough nappies for 2 days solves this problem. They are truly great!!

great reuseable nappies, good fit, no leaks after a few attempts. They are a little bulky for younger babies and the incerts stayed very wet unlike disposables giving my daughter a sore bum no matter how much checking and a cream was applied.

i guess it would be a common problem with all cloth nappies staying wet so cant lay blame to the make.

would recommend
