The super-soft Bambinex is made from 100% natural bamboo. The complete kit consists of 15 velcro-fastened bamboo nappies (each with its own removable booster), 3 PU outer wraps, 3 additional boosters, one laundry bag and a pack of gentle, flushable paper liners - the complete real nappy package.
Bambinex is lightweight and slimline in design, and an ideal choice of nappies if you're concerned about bulk, as the bamboo is so absorbant that fewer layers of fabric are needed to make up a nappy than in cotton. Sourced from readily-replenishable natural bamboo, these are a noticably fluffier, airier, more absorbant version than the Wambamboo brand which preceded them. These softly-coloured bamboos are gentle on both the eye and skin, as bamboo nappies possess naturally antibacterial, anti-allergenic properties - as well as being more absorbent and faster-drying than their cotton counterparts. Being a slimline nappy and gently elasticated at the waist and leg, the Bambinex affords more freedom of movement. With adjustable velcro fastenings for a snug, changeable fitting, we'd recommend its use for daytime activity, although with extra boosting they will also make a great nappy for nighttime or heavy wetters. Bambinex comes in two sizes - Size One for babies of 7-22lbs, and Size Two fits 22-35lbs.
These complete kits consists of 15 Bambinex nappies - with matching boosters - as well as 3 elasticated PU wraps, 3 additional inserts, one laundry bag, and a pack of flushable paper liners. Please see the "Inside the box" section above for the nappies' colouring.
The adjustable outer PU wrap is also velcro-fastened, and is elasticated at both the leg and waist for minimal leakage. The kit contains small wraps (6-12lbs). You will need to purchase additional medium sized wraps after a while but we advise trying the small first and seeing how far you get with them.
Manufacturers advise washing Bambinex nappies at least 2-3 times before use - the absorbency of Bambinex increases with washing.

My daughter has now been using these for over a year and I still think that they are great. They have lasted very well through lots of washes with no tears in the fabric or wearing through and still soft, fluffy and absorbant and I think that we'll soon be going onto size 2. The downsides are that they have shrunk slightly over this time (yeah I know my baby has grown, but when my older daughter uses them on her dolly they are smaller than they were initially)and the other downside is the applix does wear out with age as it gets bits of fluff over time - I just use a nappy nippa as well to ensure stays in place. They do take ages to dry, fine on radiators in winter but can still be damp if hung out in summer if in shade rather than sun. I've ended up tumble drying them which I never did with my first daughters cotton nappies, but then I've never had to use any nappy cream with the bamboo nappies as my daughter has not had one nappy rash in the 15 months of using them. I went for sized naapies this time round rather than one size as by the time my daughter was 2.5 years her nappies just weren't absorbing everything as they were so old and the elastic gone around the legs whereas this way its still cheaper than disposables but you have comfortable well fitting nappies that last from squirty baby poo through to toddler climbing.

I have been using these nappies for a week now and I am really impresed. Having used many sorts of washable nappy in the past these are the best so far. They are small and wonderfully soft extremly easy to use and I can get the right size trousers on over them! They wash well and the boosters dry quite quickly although the main nappies take longer. They are really absorbant and I find that I can often just change the booster rather than the whole nappy.

We have been using these for 3 weeks now, our baby is a month old. My husband and I find them easy to use, but do get some urine leakage, so have to change our baby's clothes quite frequently. Baby has no nappy rash, and the nappies are soft, and have stayed soft. They dry quickly on a hot radiator.
