close parent nappies - maker of the lovely pop-in nappy, close sling

The Pop-in nappy first drew our attention at a BabyShow last year. I took a card, and as the stand was so busy, decided to contact them after the show. Afterwards, with babies, real nappy samples and mountains of paperwork in tow I managed to lose the details. Even though I searched and searched online, it wasn't until I noticed them at the top of the mumsnet reusable nappy reviews that I found the all-in-one nappy again and, delighted, immediately set about ordering some stock. Shortly afterwards, when we moved into our shop and had a little more space, we ordered in some of their wonderful award-winning Close Baby Carrier slings.

The reason I mention this is that it isn't often that a new cloth nappy brand is launched and is seemingly perfect from the start. But the pop-in seems to be just that. (The last brand we added was Cottontails, and that was 18 months earlier.)  In beautiful soft unisex colours with a soft and cuddly bamboo cloth inner, this environmentally friendly nappy performed brilliantly in our tests. In our trials of the integrated nappy and wrap on both older and younger babies, the sizing worked really well, and although it's covered in a lovely soft fabric, which we were sure would wick out onto clothes, it performed impeccably, even overnight with an older heavy wetter. No a single leak since we started. The extra boosting really works well - and even though it's a little confusing to insert at first, once you get the hang of it, it's one of the most ingenious systems we've trialled. 

The front of the real nappy has three rows of poppers which allows you to fasten them down to fit a new born, and open them up to fit up to potty training age. The pack offers are great - including some lovely accessories along with your real nppies, and nice savings built in!

All in all, these are really high quality coth nappies. Comfy on your baby, cleverly constructed, pleasing to the eye, great for the environment.  And as it's a one-size birth to potty nappy, you only have to buy one set, and you're good to go!  We can't recommend the pop-in highly enough.
