An essential asset to all real nappy households, the 16-litre nappy pail is for storing used nappies prior to washing.

There are several schools of thought about how to store your nappies, but we recommend dry pailing, as using water can encourage bacteria to breed, and therefore increase, not decrease, the potential for odours.

Just flush away any solids, rinsing of any excess as necessary, and put wet nappies straight in.  As long as you keep the lid on, this will keep odours to a minimum.

However, if you want to try wet pailing, simply fill with water and submerge the nappies - having rinsed off any excess on soiled ones - and keep on adding until you have a full load. Optionally, you can add something to control the odour: such as tea tree oil, bicarbonate of soda, or washing powder.

We recommend NOT soaking your wraps prior to wash – hang them up to dry first in case of excess wetness, and then keep them in a laundry basket.

The bin is really good with great value for money. Does what it says on the tin. Not too big but holds about 10-13 pop-in nappies without crushing then all down. A good cheap nappy bin if your looking for one.

Great big nappy bucket, fits two days worth of nappies, lid is pretty secure once you have the mesh inside, very sturdy bucket and handle. The plastic is matte not shiny and its a nice blue colour.

Great, fits in about two days worth of napppies before they need to go in the wash. I dry pail and just use a sanny pad with some peppermint oil drops on to stop any stink but the lid fits really well and so far no nappy stench has escaped and we keep the bucket in the bedroom!! A fab budget buy.
